My educational background encompasses a diversity of training environments. My first Bachelors was awarded in biology from Mount Holyoke College, and my second in nursing from Regis University. Between those programs, I trained in deep tissue therapy and then practiced for eight years in the Colorado mountains until I decided to move into nursing. I moved into advanced practice nursing by getting a Masters in nursing in adult gerontology primary care, and worked in internal medicine in rural Colorado. Then I moved into mental health, getting my Post Masters in psychiatric mental health care. I have pursued further training in integrative psychiatry, which is based in functional medicine, and hormone optimization to support a general sense of wellbeing, vitality and growth.
From my background in wellness/deep tissue therapy and fitness, conventional medicine/mental health and integrative psychiatry, I take a collaborative approach to integrate alternative therapies, including hormone balancing, herbal agents, nutritional strategies, and movement recommendations, and conventional therapies into a plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. I look forward to working with you on your path to wellbeing.
